The Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection has set up a subsidy that is intended to motivate private and public clients to use energy-efficient technologies and will update it as of 01 January 2023! We are talking about the ‘BEG-Program’ (short for: Federal Promotion for Efficient Buildings). Its main objectives include the Germany-wide expansion of sustainable and energy-saving building controls and thereby a comprehensive contribution to the realization of climate protection goals.

What is funded?

With this program, the ministry is promoting residential and functional buildings, including renovations and new buildings. If you are currently thinking about modernizing your existing house or constructing a new home, this is the right time! The BAFA (short for Federal Office of Economics and Export Control) provides a subsidy of up to 40%. This financial relief refers to the installation of energy-efficient heating and air conditioning technology, solar systems, heat pumps, or the mere optimization of the existing system. To promote long-lasting and qualitatively reliable conversion or new construction, this program requires implementation by a specialist company.
