What’s the best way to start the new year? With a successful appearance at Light + Building in Frankfurt am Main, of course!

More than a year has already passed since the last L+B in October 2022, and now we could barely wait to finally exhibit there again. But why do we enjoy being part of this exhibition so much? Light + Building is the meeting place for all manufacturers and customers worldwide in the sectors of lighting, home & building automation and electrical engineering. In the large number of visitors, we not only find our target group, but also exciting dialogue and inspiring meetings with planners, craftsmen, engineers and retailers.

What was new?
After presenting a brand new exhibition stand at the last L+B, there was another small change this year: for the first time, we were able to welcome our customers in our new pergola!

Our visitors also came across three new cubes during their tour around the booth:
The energy cube was specifically designed for the topic of generating and utilising energy. With the help of the exemplary PV system at the booth and the instruction videos produced for it, our experts were able to explain the sustainable use of electricity to the visitors. One of the things to discover was our latest product: the ZGW16WL-IP! This meter gateway can be connected to an ELTAKO Modbus electricity meter and integrate it into the ELTAKO Connect app. Our customers can then view their consumption values and save them locally on the device without logging into a cloud.

For those who wanted to find out more about the ELTAKO Connect app, they could take a look at our Bluetooth cube. How does the “Bluetooth” standard work? How do you use it and which products fall into this category? Our team explained all of this to the visitors in detail. The highlight of this cube was our universal dimmer “EUD12NPN-BT/300W-230V”. With an integrated timer and a motion detector input, it can also realise simple automations in addition to the familiar functions.

At the end of the tour, our visitors were able to discover the Matter cube. There, we exhibited our various Matter-enabled products so that our customers could test them in different ecosystems. Here you could find our first Matter product, another universal dimmer, the “EUD62NPN-IPM/110-240V”. With its proven ELTAKO dimming technology and variable dimming curves, it can be optimally adapted to different light sources.
