We discuss Mobile Homes and where does the trend find its origin?

Mobile Homes have a reduced living area between 10 and 55sqm and are mostly built on wheels. This allows flexible “moving”, similar to a caravan. For several years now, Mobile Homes have been extremely popular in the USA. This is only now slowly spilling over into Europe and is now also a topic in Germany. Due to rising land prices, more and more Germans can imagine living in a Mobile Home and correspondingly a small plot of land. Comfort and energy efficiency are not sacrificed in the process. These homes are equipped to the highest technical level.

Is it worth investing in a smart home system in this smaller space?

We say: Yes! If you’re already living minimalist, why not automate as much as possible to have even more time for the important things in life? The functions are the same as in “normal” houses. From lighting and blinds to heating and ventilation control, everything can be linked smartly with little effort.

After all, you have to take into account that due to the small living space, there is basically only one large room, which must cover different needs. During the day it is the office, in the evening the living room and at night the bedroom. Here, smart lighting controls in particular, which can be regulated in color and brightness, are enormously important for any purpose.
