Campervan / motorhome light switches are ordinarily located next to the entry door or centrally located within the furniture; this makes the installation easier for the coach builder, but it is often not user friendly. The ability to turn on the toilet light from the bed side or switch all the lighting off once in bed, maybe even switch the awning light on before you even enter the van improves your comfort. The issue is moving the switches from the existing locations without taking the van apart, step in the ELTAKO wireless solution.

With an ELTAKO wireless installation the 12V relays or dimmers can be installed adjacent to the existing lighting control connections in a small enclosure, Eltako offer both DIN Rail and Flush mount versions for even more flexibility. But the really clever part is the wireless kinetic switch that controls the lighting relays, these switches require no batteries, and you can simply stick or screw them to any location within the van (walls, furniture, glass, ceiling, etc.)
